Value added services: Closed user group E-mail service

General description

We recommend the closed chain E-mail service (mailing system) of Hungaro DigiTel for our partners and clients, who require establishment of a complete E-mail system, with server, firewall or even client machine servicing.

Main features of the closed chain E-mail service:

The mailing system can be

• completely closed, in this case, data traffic is possible only between the Client’s defined computers and the center of the Client (Intranet).
• open, or restrictedly open to the Internet. In this case, the Client can define the E-mail addresses from where the system can receive or send E-mails (e.g. business partner companies, subcontractors, etc.).

The mail server for handling exclusively the Client’s mails is located in the Lakihegy center of Hungaro DigiTel. The server and the network is protected by a firewall from the Internet. The server is supplemented by a backup system. Data are backed up cyclically, according to the Client’s requirements. The client computers at the terminal points connect to the Ethernet port of the indoor VSAT satellite unit. The VSAT indoor units provide the router function. Incidental management of the clients is provided from the Lakihegy center of Hungaro DigiTel.

Further features:

• No connection time, the line is always “living” (functionally it can be regarded as a leased line).
• The E-mails are provided for the addressee quickly and without retrieval costs.
• VPNs can be established even without routers at the terminal points (minimum investment costs).
• Terminal point restrictions (E-mail partners of the terminal point) can be defined from the central location.
• The most up-to-date central firewall and virus protection.
• Incidental central management of the clients
